Riesling from Saar, Mosel, Germany                                  

Style: Everything I love about Mosel Riesling. Creamy peaches, white floral nose, honeysuckle and the snappy rose apple crunch midpalate. Traditional petrol on the nose from a terroir of blue Devonian slate.

 

2018 Sohm & Kracher                                                 2.5/8/32    

Gruner Veltliner from Austria                                          

Style: A grape not often recognized in the US, but prized in Austria. When young, Gruner, is known for it’s crispness and juicy granny smith apple and almond extract.

Albariño from Rías Baixas, Spain                                          

Style:  Floral aromas of oleander and peach blossom with a gentle reminder of sea air.  The palate is slight weighty with baked peaches and apple pie.

Style: Fresh ripe peaches  and lemon Meringue provide a light and easy drinking wine. Subtle white floral aromatics with a light and tropical fruit finish.  *OR *Vegan

Sauvignon Blanc Rueda, Spain                                             

Style: All the best parts of this grape, pink grapefruit, lemon pulp, and apricots balanced out with crisp minerality without the overdone tartness. 

 

2016 Simone Capecci “Ciprea”                 4.5/13/52                                                                   

Pecorino from Offida, Marche, Italy

Style: A grape once thought to be extinct, but this  producer brought it back. A fruit profile different from anything on the menu. Gooseberry, goji berry and persimmon lend a exotic tropical flavor with a lush full body and bready finish. *OR

Pinot Noir from Tupungnato-Valle De Uco, Mendoza, Argentina                                                   

Style: Aromatics are reminiscent of walking through a ready to be picked strawberry patch. A soft and velvety textured palate brimming with sappy red berries,  budding mushrooms and that ripe strawberry through the finish.

2018 Corto di Passo Appassimento                                3.5/9.5/38   

Nero D’Avola from Sicily, Italy                                        

Style: Made from half dried grapes blended with fresh juice give this island wine a baked cherry pie character. Hints of baking spices and raisins add another level.

Style: An aromatic mix of dried sage, rosemary and  thistle. A gentle dry red with a potpourri of red fruits.

Malbec from Columbia Valley, WA                                     

Style: Layered fragrant aromatics of blackberry, plum, black currant, violets and a touch of anise, alongside a slight touch of herbs, black tea, and orange zest . A smooth palate with touches of pomegranate.

Style:  Bold aromas of worn leather, vanilla extract and  raspberry liqueur. Dry and oaky palate with earthy notes of dust  and thyme

 Style:  Bold and luscious. Dripping with sappy blueberry, blackberries and black cherry. Has a poppin’ black pepper flavor mixed with smoke chilies. *SUS *OR

 

2016 Giacomo Mori  Chianti                                        4.5/12/48                                     

Sangiovese from Pallazone, Chianti, Italy                         

Style:  This vineyard has been owned by the Mori Familia since the 7th century. The aromatics take you straight to the vineyard with it’s crushed, dried leaves, truffle, and soil. Bright red fruits and leather gently collide and meld over your tongue finishing with finesses and power. *OR                    

2017 Lauigi Giusti “Lacrima”                                             3.5/10/40        

Lacrima (grape) from Morro D’Alba, Marche, Italy          

  Style: Smell this wine, close your eyes and you can transport yourself smack in the middle of this vineyard. The dust from the earth, lilies, poppies and alpine       flowers float in the air and wild strawberries and  raspberries shine on the palate.  *OR

Garnacha from  Madrid, Spain                                   

Style: Aromas of ripe plums, cherries and low mountain scrub against a mineral background typical of granite-based soil. Bold body with rich nuances of oak, vanilla, sweet tobacco and baking spices.  *VEGAN

Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Mataro, and Carignane  from Contra Costa County, CA                      

Style:  A silky smooth, chewy red with raspberry liqueur, milk chocolate, herbal undertones and layers of oak spice.

Giuseppe e Luigi Societa Agricola 

Glera from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy  

Style: Lightly aromatic nose of  squeezed lemon and brioche with hints of Macintosh apple. Perfected tiny bubbles and incredibly clean. This wine is estate grown, which is less often seen in this area and made by the champagne method.

Style:  A sweet, sparkling red with milk chocolatey notes and sweet cherries balanced out out by a gentle effervescence

Style: Mild toasty, lemon bar aromas with bright citrus flavors.  Lively, crisp and dry.

Style: Toasted nuts, caramel and candied cherries set off this baby tawny from one of the oldest port shippers in history.

2016 Liliac & Kracher Ice Wine                                                14/2oz     

Muscat Ottonel Ice wine from Transylvania, Romania

Style: Lucious, incredibly sweet and silky smooth. An   intense blend of kumquat, gooseberry, tangerine and honey with juicy tropical lychees on the finish.  Incredibly rare and complex.  Traditional Ice wine with botrytis and on the vine freeze.
